… and the Platinum Awards are a great opportunity to celebrate the incredible achievements of our individuals and teams, as well as the outstanding work that makes this business great, so please take the time to nominate a colleague or team!

There are 15 categories that you can nominate an individual or team for. Alongside this, each business will also be given the opportunity to choose a winning Project Manager.

The Platinum awards event is on Thursday 5th March in The UnderGlobe, Southbank London.

Categories

Our categories focus on our current business priorities and gives us an opportunity to celebrate those team members/or teams who regularly go above and beyond the day job.

Employee of the Year

This award is for someone who has gone the extra mile, who offers to take on projects beyond their day-to-day activities, and strives to achieve more for the benefit of our business and inspires those around them.

Manager/Supervisor of the Year

This award is for someone who inspires their team to deliver beyond their expectations. This person manages their teams on a day-to-day basis, overcoming challenges to keeping spirit high.

Team Player

A person who is invaluable to a team or project, and whose day-to-day contributions make them an unsung hero to their colleagues. They consistently demonstrate a positive approach to work, and always have a smile on their face!

Intercompany trading

An award for an individual who has promoted intercompany trading, which has resulted in collaboration between more than one business unit.

Mark Scarth Early Careers

This award is for any early careers employee, who has studied/is studying for a qualification while working. Someone who has overcome the challenges of working and studying at the same time and has demonstrated their new skills to improve their work.

Delivering Success

A person or team who has overcome an operational challenge through new ideas or sheer determination, to achieve a desired outcome for a project or customer. They took on the challenge, stayed focused and developed an effective solution.

Health and Safety

This is an award for a person or team who has made a significant contribution to achieve positive health, safety, and wellbeing standards. A person or team who has implemented an innovative initiative, improved safety on site, highlighted or introduced new health and safety measures to further reduce accidents and incidents, and/or improved mental health and wellbeing awareness for those around them.

People - Planet - Purpose

This award recognises a person, team or project that are driving forward the sustainability agenda, are inspiring us to initiate positive change to make our business more sustainable, through sustainable practices or social value initiatives.

Innovation

This is the award is for the person and/or team who has developed an innovative process or product that enables us to work smarter and deliver a better solution for customer/teams. This could be demonstrated through improved commercial performance, better working practices and customer engagement.

Customer Service

A person or team who goes the extra mile to support their customers, either internal or external to ensure they experience a great service. This can be achieved through understanding the customer requirements, improving processes, or communicating effectively.

Project <5m

This award is for the project team that has achieved something significant, such as having a happy customer, overcoming unique challenges to achieve a positive result, a groundbreaking approach to health and safety, an innovative approach to sustainability and community engagement, or strong supply chain relationships.

Project 5-10m

This award is for the project team that has achieved something significant, such as having a happy customer, overcoming unique challenges to achieve a positive result, a groundbreaking approach to health and safety, an innovative approach to sustainability and community engagement, or strong supply chain relationships.

Project 10-25m

This award is for the project team that has achieved something significant, such as having a happy customer, overcoming unique challenges to achieve a positive result, a groundbreaking approach to health and safety, an innovative approach to sustainability and community engagement, or strong supply chain relationships.

Project >25m

This award is for the project team that has achieved something significant, such as having a happy customer, overcoming unique challenges to achieve a positive result, a groundbreaking approach to health and safety, an innovative approach to sustainability and community engagement, or strong supply chain relationships.

Team of the Year

A team that has gone above and beyond to work together and develops a strong team spirit to overcome challenges and achieve great results. The team, either office or site based, can be those working on a particular project, or a team who has come together to deliver a key business priority.

It is still quicker than ever to nominate your colleagues – with a shorter and easier to access nomination form. We want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to get involved! Follow the simple steps below.
